The character of Gloria appeared as the owner of the pet shop where Adrian worked in South Philadelphia. She is shown to have a slight dislike of Rocky Balboa in the first film, but she also appears to have a close friendship with Adrian, as she was the bridesmaid at her wedding.
Gloria was played by actress Jane Marla Robbins.
