Jack Reid (born December 26, 1957- December 26, 2009) is an American former professional boxer who competed during the 1980s until an unknown time. He competed in the Heavyweight Division. He is a playable character in Rocky (video game) & Rocky Legends.

Jack Reid (born December 26th, 1957- December 26th, 2009) was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He competed in the Heavyweight Division for several years but was never able to capture the Heavyweight Championship.
During his prime, Reid was described as a stocky powerhouse with superb power. He was known for always being in the gym training and loved nothing more than a good tear up. After retiring from boxing Reid went down a life off crime and in 1999 he was convicted of murder and sent to 40 years in jail, he escaped in 2004, he fled to Mexico. He was diagnosed with melanoma in 2007, which became terminal in November 2009, he came back Philadelphia on Christmas day, the next day he set a church on fire killing 3 people he was shot by police while trying to escape, dying on his birthday age 52.[1]
