Punchy was Rocky Balboa's second pet dog in the film Rocky Balboa, which only appeared in, and it's possible he had died before the events of Creed.
Biography
Punchy's date of birth and place of birth is unknown. At some point in his life, he was taken to a dog pound. No one adopted him because they thought he was 'ugly' and 'inactive'. In 2006, Rocky and Steps visited Punchy's dog pound, and Rocky chose Punchy. After being adopted by Rocky, Punchy was seen sitting in his dog bed at Adrian's (where he was called 'ugly' by Paulie) and he was with Rocky on his walk with Marie. Punchy was also running alongside Rocky when he was training. He was never seen again after this scene.
