Rocky Balboa statue is a statue built by the citizens of Philadelphia to honor Rocky Balboa. At the unveiling, Rocky says he is considering retirement. However, the ceremony is cut short when Clubber Lang approaches and threatens Rocky that he could beat him. Lang mocks the sculpture by shouting "Don't give this sucker no statue; give him guts!" The statue reappeared later in the film when Rocky lost the championship to Lang. Following the death of his manager Mickey Goldmill, Rocky is riding around the city by himself on his motorcycle. He comes upon the statue, which is now devoid of the fanfare seen at the unveiling. Depressed at losing his old friend and feeling that he is a fraud in having let everyone down with his loss, Rocky angrily hurls his helmet at the statue. In 1986, the statue is still at the top of the steps when Rocky and his pupil Tommy Gunn race up there. Later on, Rocky and his son Robert are seen visiting the statue. By 2006, the statue was moved from the top of the steps to the lower corner of the Museum.
In 2015, Adonis Johnson visit the statue on his way to meet Rocky and three years later, Rocky's rival Ivan Drago and his son see the statue.
