The Superfight 3, was a private rematch between Heavyweight Champions Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed. After Balboa defeated Clubber Lang and reclaimed the title, he fulfilled his Apollo promise for a rematch. Unlike the previous two, this fight was in a private location of Mickey's gym with no audience, sport commentators, or camera. There have since been reports of a 3rd rematch between the two legends but was never confirmed.
Background[]
When Rocky was in deep depression after Mickey's death, Apollo Creed offered to train him so he could reclaim his "eye of the tiger". When Rocky accepted, Creed told the boxer that when this is all over, he will owe him a favor. Rocky would go on to beat Lang and reclaim the title.
The Fight[]

Apollo and Rocky would head over to a gym and the two had a friendly banter before stepping into the ring to begin the fight. It is never known who won the fight.
Aftermath[]
There were speculations that Balboa and Creed had a 3rd rematch but was never confirmed by either boxers. Speculations later dim when Creed was killed by Soviet boxer Ivan Drago. Years later, an aged Rocky would tell Apollo's son Adonis that Apollo in fact won the private fight.
